The FoundersJames Webster, Chief Executive Officer![]() James Webster has founded and run several successful businesses in both the UK and Australia. He graduated from Cambridge University in 1993 with a BA(hons) degree in computer science and started his career as a consultant working for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). His first assignment with Andersen Consulting was at Goldman Sachs, a position which led to his rapid transfer from pure consultancy to finance industry-based IT consultancy. He was headhunted to Nomura International where he spent 5 years, rising to the level of Head of Divisional Systems. He then migrated to Citigroup where he was Head of IT Strategy for the Warrants Division. In 2000 James left Citigroup to found his first business, The Marlin Partnership, a consultancy based in London offering elite IT services to financial institutions. The business was a success listing companies such as JP Morgan, ING, Cazenove amongst its clients and growing to 30 staff over 3 years. In 2003, he emigrated to Australia with his Perth-born wife where he founded Small Blue Marble, Booking Pro Pty Ltd and took a large stake in Darlington Estate Winery. GRACE2 is his latest large scale business venture and has absorbed the majority of James' time for the past 2 years. Moving forward his role will be twofold - to dictate overall direction and strategy as well as to head up the development arm of the business, ensuring continual innovation and best of breed design in the software underpinning the business. Tore Moe, Director Marketing & Sales![]() Tore Moe has over 18 years experience in engineering, general management, business development and marketing and sales. Tore graduated in 1990 with a BEng(hon) degree in Electronic Computer Systems and spent the next 7 years as a field engineer in the oil&gas industry. In 1998 Tore moved into a marketing and sales role with a large international service company and has over the last 11 years developed strong strategic sales, client relationship and commercial negotiations skills. In his most recent position as Director Business Development with AWT Tore was in charge of the company's global business development team. He was instrumental in building AWT from a small Perth based consulting firm into a substantial engineering company with operating centres across Australia and Asia/Pacific. Tore's role at GRACE2 is to develop the marketing and sales strategies of the company and to ensure these strategies are successfully implemented. |
